Self Drive Hire Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read through the Terms & Conditions below before continuing to book.

All drivers over the age of 25 must have held a Full UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year.
Hires to drivers aged between 69 and 75 are usually available on special application to our Insurance Company.
In the case of all hiring we will require to see your current Driving Licence and a second form of identity with an up to date photograph. We also require proof of your permanent address, or if you are visiting the area, proof of where you are staying. A utility bill will suffice.
A charge will be made for additional drivers who will also need to meet the above requirements.
If you commit any road traffic offence you are liable for all the penalties imposed. Details of the hirer are forwarded to the appropriate authority when requested.
As regards excess mileage, the first 200 miles per day are free. Thereafter a charge of 12 pence per mile will be made. Weekly or longer hires are exempt of excess mileage charge.
